Shenzhen-based UBTech Robotics has announced significant contract wins for its Walker S2 humanoid robot. The company claims to have received orders totaling over 800 million yuan (approximately $93 million USD) this year, with a notable order of 159 million yuan (approximately $18 million USD) secured from a company in Zigong, Sichuan province. This represents the second largest order for the Walker S2 model following a previous deal in September. UBTech’s revenue for 2023 was driven by continued growth in the robotics sector, with the company focusing on expanding its offerings in the industrial automation market.
