In a developing case following the death of Zubeen Garg, Assam’s authorities have arrested Siddhartha Sharma, his manager, and Shyamkanu Mahanta, the chief organizer of the North East India Festival (NEIF). Garg, a celebrated Assamese singer, passed away on September 19, reportedly after a drowning incident at Lazarus Island in Singapore. Mahanta, the head of NEIF, was apprehended in Singapore upon arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport, while Sharma was arrested in Gurugram, India, following his arrival from Rajasthan.
