New Delhi: BluPine Energy has secured a 150-megawatt (MW) project under SJVN Green Energy Limited’s 1.5-gigawatt (GW) Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) auction, aimed at providing assured renewable power with integrated energy storage.
The project was awarded to Solarcraft Power India 16 Pvt. Ltd., a special purpose vehicle of BluPine Energy, at a tariff of ₹6.75 per kilowatt-hour.
According to the company, the project will deliver firm renewable power during peak hours—between midnight and 8 a.m. and from 5 p.m. to midnight daily—helping stabilize the grid and meet high-demand periods with clean energy. A 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) will govern the supply arrangement.
“This win marks another milestone in BluPine Energy’s journey toward building a resilient and dispatchable renewable energy portfolio,” said Neerav Nanavaty, Chief Executive Officer of BluPine Energy. “As India transitions toward a 24×7 clean power future, projects like these will play a pivotal role in balancing the grid and ensuring reliability without compromising sustainability.”
BluPine Energy said the project supports its goal of building more than 4 GW of solar, wind, and hybrid capacity by the 2027 financial year. The company’s expanding pipeline includes solar-wind-storage projects aimed at providing reliable renewable energy for utilities and industries across India.
