Chinese lawmakers initiated a review of draft amendments to the Enterprise Bankruptcy Law on Monday, following the 17th session of the 14th NPC Standing Committee. The amendments, comprising over 160 new or modified articles, build upon the existing legal framework established in 1999. These revisions focus on strengthening the market-exit mechanism and addressing identified shortcomings within the current law.
