China Significantly More Trusting of AI Than the US

A recent Edelman poll conducted in China reveals a significantly higher level of trust in artificial intelligence compared to the United States. 87 percent of surveyed individuals expressed confidence in AI technologies, while only 32 percent in the US indicated similar levels of trust. This disparity reflects a stronger cultural acceptance and integration of AI across various sectors within the Chinese economy and society. The poll data suggests a considerable influence of government initiatives and widespread adoption in China’s technological landscape.
