New Delhi: Content creator Dolly Singh has been named one of the global winners of Instagram’s 2025 Rings Awards, a recognition celebrating creators who demonstrate originality and creative risk-taking. Singh is the only winner from India among the 25 honorees worldwide.
The Rings Awards highlight individuals who shape and influence culture through their work on Instagram. According to the announcement, the initiative celebrates “a spirit” of creativity rather than a specific genre or format, recognizing creators who challenge boundaries and express their authentic selves.
“Being recognized with the Rings Award is so surreal that the feeling has still not sunk in,” Singh said. “It’s definitely one of my career’s biggest moments yet, and a shiver goes down my spine every time I think about it. The jury panel for the award is impeccable, and just the fact that these brilliant, genius minds have seen my content is unbelievable.”
Reflecting on her creative journey, Singh credited the platform for enabling her to evolve from fashion and comedy to broader storytelling. “Instagram has been a platform that became my playground from the get-go, where I’ve been able to experiment, take risks, and share my most authentic self with my community,” she said.
Other global recipients include Zarna Garg, Aki and Koichi, and Olivia Dean. The judging panel featured figures such as fashion designer Grace Wales Bonner, filmmaker Spike Lee, rugby player Ilona Maher, makeup artist Pat McGrath, designer Marc Jacobs, actress Yara Shahidi, artist KAWS, Instagram Head Adam Mosseri, and Head of Fashion Partnerships Eva Chen.
Each winner will receive a physical and digital ring, along with new customization features on their Instagram profiles, including a gold ring appearing around their Stories and options to personalize their profile and “like” button.
