A senior faculty member of a private college in Bengaluru has been booked by the authorities for alleged sexual harassment of a student. The accused, identified as Mr. Sanjeev Mondal, was observed to have called the student home on the basis of a fabricated lunch invitation. During this interaction, he allegedly expressed concerns about the student’s attendance and offered assistance. The student reported feeling uncomfortable and subsequently reported the incident to the college administration. Investigation into the matter is underway.
