Hong Kong’s West Kowloon Cultural District has canceled a planned gay-themed performance scheduled for 11:00 AM on Saturday. The event, intended to be a cultural showcase, was postponed two hours prior to ticket sales opening. The decision was attributed to received complaints regarding the play’s potential to promote confrontation and negatively portray the city.
