A Chinese man, identified as Liu, and his wife, residing in Xingyang, Henan province, are facing legal challenges following a significant financial loss. Liu reported that his wife, who spent the majority of their funds on a live-streamer, accumulated a substantial sum of $94,000 (approximately 670,000 yuan) in live-streamer tipping. Liu stated his intention to recover half of their shared property. He indicated he was attempting to mitigate the financial impact of his wife’s spending habits. The couple has been married for eight years and currently work in Zhengzhou, a distance of 25 kilometers from Xingyang. The situation is currently under investigation by local authorities.
