Instagram has introduced a new feature allowing teen users to personalize their app icon with a selection of new designs.
The update, available exclusively to Teen Accounts, lets users choose from six aesthetics, including fire, floral, chrome, cosmic, and slime. The icons were developed in collaboration with illustrator Carlos Oliveras Colom, known as @doncarrrlos, and Instagram’s in-house design team.
According to the announcement, the feature is intended to give teens greater control over the look and feel of their Instagram experience and a way to express their personal style.
Teens can access the feature by tapping the Instagram logo at the top of their home screen, which opens an option to select and apply their preferred icon.
