Dharmatic Entertainment, a digital division of Dharma Productions, has been formally merged with the parent company, as per recent reports. This move, expedited by entrepreneur Adar Poonawalla’s ownership stake, aims to streamline operations and bolster the company’s distribution capabilities. The merger, effective April 1, 2025, is expected to reduce subsidiary numbers, cut costs, and simplify legal processes. Dharmatic’s assets will be transferred to Dharma Productions, with no financial transaction undertaken as part of the agreement. The merger is predicated on optimizing resources and creating a more efficient organization.
