A South Korean man, 40 years old, has confessed to the homicide of his girlfriend, who was found dead in a kimchi refrigerator. The defendant admitted to a lengthy period of escalating insults and belittling towards his former partner, stemming from a disagreement over stock investment advice. On October 20, 2023, the man strangled his girlfriend at his residence in Gunsan, North Jeolla province. Subsequently, he began sending impersonating text messages to family members, creating a false narrative of the deceased.
