A motorcycle was struck by a tipper lorry earlier today at approximately 10:00 AM on Elm Street. The driver of the motorcycle sustained serious injuries and was immediately transported to MCH Memorial Hospital. The driver’s wife, who was riding pillion, is currently receiving medical treatment and is expected to recover. Police are investigating the incident and have determined the lorry was traveling at a speed that caused the collision. There were no reports of other injuries. The driver of the lorry has been identified as Mr. John Smith.
