The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Stalin, held inaugurate ceremonies on Tuesday to mark significant developments in the Tholkudi programme. The CM virtually inaugurated 20 hostels, 37 school buildings, and housing units, representing a substantial investment of ₹209 crore. Furthermore, the department constructed sixteen village knowledge centres and nine multi-purpose centres, demonstrating a commitment to rural development. These facilities will significantly enhance access to education and healthcare within the region. The initiative aims to improve the quality of life for retired priests and tribal communities in the area.
