Noida: The Uttar Pradesh Kabaddi League (UPKL) has announced the launch of its new campaign film, Poora UP Khelega Kabaddi, marking the on-ground and broadcast announcement for Season 2 of the league. The new season is scheduled to begin on December 24, 2025, at the Noida Indoor Stadium.
The campaign film has been conceptualised and produced by V1 Media. According to the announcement, the film presents a narrative centred on grassroots aspiration and the cultural presence of kabaddi across Uttar Pradesh. It follows a young boy sketching a kabaddi outline with marking powder, symbolising an initial interest in the sport, before travelling through various cities in the state to reflect its widespread following. The journey concludes at the Noida Indoor Stadium, where Season 2 of UPKL is set to take place.
The campaign forms part of the league’s promotional activities ahead of the upcoming season and aims to highlight the connection between local-level participation and a professional competitive platform.
Commenting on the campaign, Sambhav Jain, Founder and Director of SJ Uplift Kabaddi, said the film reflects how kabaddi is played in everyday spaces across the state and traces the progression from early aspiration to participation at a professional level.
Season 2 of UPKL will feature 12 teams competing in 69 matches over 18 days, with all matches hosted at the Noida Indoor Stadium. The matches will be broadcast on Zee Bollywood, &Pictures HD, Anmol Cinema 2, and streamed on ZEE5.
