UST Signs $2 Billion Deals to Support AI-Driven Healthcare Transformation

MUMBAI: Technology and AI solutions provider UST has entered into multi-year agreements worth more than $2 billion with three major healthcare companies, expanding its role in digital transformation across the sector.

According to the announcement, the partnerships will focus on data and AI-driven personalization, automation, and digital platform development aimed at improving efficiency and patient experiences. UST will leverage its expertise in healthcare operations, data intelligence, and technology platforms under its UST Evolve framework.

The company said the collaborations will enable healthcare payers and insurance providers to modernize systems traditionally limited by legacy technology. UST will also invest in infrastructure and innovation to support clients’ long-term digital initiatives.

One of the partnerships involves developing AI tools to analyze data from more than 70 million covered individuals, helping clients enhance savings, reduce administrative costs, and improve member satisfaction. Another engagement centers on applying AI-based automation throughout the software development lifecycle to boost product quality and speed of delivery.

“We are proud to be at the forefront of healthcare transformation at this significant scale,” said Anand Nair, Head of Healthcare and Life Sciences at UST. “Through these partnerships, we enable clients to move beyond legacy models and deliver more efficient systems and better health outcomes.”

“Our healthcare strategy is grounded in personalization with a purpose,” added Kailash Attal, Chief Solutions Officer at UST. “We are helping healthcare payers move from generic engagements to individualized experiences—improving outcomes for patients while driving performance for the business.”

UST said the deals build on its two decades of experience in healthcare technology and its continued focus on human-centered digital solutions.
