Vision Group to Enhance Temple Infrastructure in Karnataka

The Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments Department has established a vision group with seven members. This group’s primary objective is to propose strategic recommendations for upgrading facilities at 34,165 ‘C’ category historical and ancient temples across the state of Karnataka. The group’s mandate encompasses assessing current needs, exploring potential improvements, and developing a framework for sustainable infrastructural development. The department intends to facilitate a collaborative process involving experts and stakeholders to ensure the preservation and accessibility of these significant cultural heritage sites. The group’s work will focus on bolstering the functionality and maintenance of these temples.
