National, 17 June 2025 — Galgotias University and Tata Technologies have jointly launched a Learning Centre focused on product development training for engineering students. The centre will provide technical education and practical exposure to students from Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronics Engineering programs.
The facility was inaugurated by Pawan Bhageria, Global President – HR, IT & Education at Tata Technologies, and Dr. Dhruv Galgotia, Chief Executive Officer of Galgotias University.
The centre is designed to deliver training in areas such as MCAD/PLM systems, electric vehicle technologies, and other engineering domains. It will leverage Tata Technologies’ I GET IT platform, which offers applied, skill-based learning resources aligned with industry requirements.
To support academic delivery, Tata Technologies will organize regular Faculty Development Programs and sessions led by subject matter experts. These initiatives aim to support curriculum alignment with industry standards and provide mentorship to students.
Speaking at the launch, Dr. Dhruv Galgotia said the collaboration is intended to integrate practical learning within the university’s engineering curriculum. Pawan Bhageria stated that the initiative is part of Tata Technologies’ ongoing efforts to align academic training with evolving industry needs.
The partnership includes provisions for student placement support, with the goal of improving access to employment opportunities in sectors such as technology and manufacturing.
