Agniveers in Uttarakhand will now get 10% quota in police, fire, forest services recruitment
The Uttarakhand government has issued rules to give 10% reservation in recruitment to uniformed posts for permanent residents of the state who have served as Agniveers . These posts include Police Constable (Civil/PAC), Sub-Inspector, Platoon Commander (PAC), Fireman, Second Officer (Fire Service), Jail Guard, Forest Guard, Deputy Jailer, Forest Ranger, Excise Constable, Enforcement Constable, and Secretariat Guard .
