Amorepacific and Sankalptaru Foundation Launch Tree Plantation Project in Haryana

Gurugram: Amorepacific India, through its subsidiary Innisfree Cosmetics India Pvt. Ltd., has partnered with the environmental non-governmental organization Sankalptaru Foundation to establish the “Amorepacific Forest” in Khijuri, Bawal, Haryana. The initiative forms part of the company’s corporate social responsibility efforts aimed at promoting environmental sustainability and community engagement.

Under the project, 1,800 native, medicinal, fruit-bearing, flowering, and shade-giving trees will be planted to create a self-sustaining green space. Each sapling will be geo-tagged and digitally recorded to ensure transparency and enable long-term monitoring of the forest’s ecological development.

According to the company, the plantation drive is designed to integrate sustainable and scientific methods while engaging the local community. Sankalptaru Foundation will train residents to care for and maintain the forest, ensuring its continued growth and environmental benefits.

Employees of Amorepacific will also participate in the plantation activities alongside Sankalptaru volunteers. Paul Lee, Country Head of Amorepacific India, said the initiative reflects the company’s belief in fostering harmony between nature and humanity. Mini Sood Banerjee, Deputy Director and Head of Marketing at Amorepacific India, said the collaboration extends the company’s commitment to “creating beauty beyond skincare.”
