Mumbai: Cosmo Films, a business unit of Cosmo First Limited, has received the Indian Flexible Packaging and Folding Carton Association (IFCA) Star Award 2025 for two packaging innovations: the High Heat Seal Strength Metallized Barrier BOPP Film (HST-1 (ES EL)MOT085) and the CPP-based Retortable Sealable Peelable Lidding Film (HST-1 (LRT)CPP).
According to the announcement, the award recognizes the company’s advancements in developing films that combine high performance with sustainability. The new films are designed to meet the requirements of the fast-moving consumer goods and food packaging sectors, focusing on durability, sealing strength, and environmental considerations.
