Delhi: — Dharana at Shillim announced the launch of a new suite of clinically focused, long-stay wellbeing programmes aimed at addressing a range of modern health concerns through sustained care and structured engagement.
According to the announcement, the expanded offerings are designed to target issues including metabolic health, cognitive fatigue, gut health, chronic stress, and preventive cardiology. The programmes are structured as extended pathways rather than short interventions, reflecting the retreat’s emphasis on time-bound clinical processes and continuity of care.
The programmes were developed by Dharana’s multidisciplinary clinical team and integrate advanced diagnostics with Ayurvedic practices. The retreat said this approach enables personalised interventions that begin before arrival and continue after the stay concludes, with the goal of supporting measurable, longer-term health outcomes.
Dr. Shaji, chief wellness officer at Dharana at Shillim, said the programmes are based on the view that sustained engagement is necessary for meaningful physiological change. “The body requires time to recalibrate, repair, and restore balance,” he said, adding that the programmes combine diagnostic data with established healing systems.
Located within a 2,500-acre protected area in the Sahyadri mountain range, the retreat positions the long-stay environment as a supporting factor for preventative medicine, physical restoration, emotional balance, and nutrition-focused care.
Dharana at Shillim was named among the Top 20 Destination Spas in the World by the Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards in 2025, according to the announcement.
