Goa Highlights Technology Initiatives at Bengaluru Tech Summit

BENGALURU: The 28th Bengaluru Tech Summit opened today at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre, bringing together innovators, entrepreneurs, investors and technology leaders for three days of discussions and showcases.

The Government of Goa’s Department of Information Technology, Electronics and Communications has established a state pavilion in Hall 3, Stall HS5a. The exhibit, presented with the Startup & IT Promotion Cell (SITPC), outlines the state’s expanding role in digital innovation, manufacturing, design and entrepreneurship. According to the release, the display focuses on digital connectivity, developing industrial and IT infrastructure, and governance processes aimed at supporting emerging enterprises.

Projects featured at the pavilion include the Goa AI Mission 2027, the Electronic Manufacturing Cluster in Tuem and upgrades to the Goa Broadband Network integrated with BharatNet. Through SITPC, the state is implementing the Startup Policy 2025 and is currently supporting 716 startups through schemes intended to aid idea development and scale-up efforts.

Two Goa-based startups are participating in this year’s summit. Spintly is exhibiting its IoT-based smart access systems that use BLE-Mesh technology for wireless and scalable building access. Genora is showcasing VoxIntel, its data-driven political campaign intelligence platform.

The summit provides Goa with opportunities for partnerships, increased visibility and potential investment. Visitors and industry representatives can engage with the state delegation and participating startups at the Goa Pavilion as the event continues through November 20.
