New Delhi — The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced a collaboration with BharathCloud to provide chartered accountants across the country with secure, locally hosted cloud solutions.
The initiative, led by ICAI’s Beneficiary Schemes Directorate, is intended to strengthen members’ digital infrastructure by offering data storage and computing services compliant with Indian regulations. According to the announcement, the services are designed to enhance data sovereignty, privacy, and operational efficiency for accounting professionals.
Under the partnership, ICAI members will have access to AI-ready cloud services at discounted rates. The plans are structured to accommodate a range of users, from individual practitioners to large firms. An annual subscription priced at ₹3,000 will also be available for CA students.
ICAI President CA. Prasanna Kumar D said the collaboration is aimed at providing members with secure and scalable technology infrastructure that supports data protection and regulatory compliance. Vice-President CA. Mangesh Pandurang Kinare added that the initiative is expected to help members improve productivity and streamline operations.
BharathCloud Co-Founder Rahul Takkallapally said the partnership focuses on enabling accounting professionals to adopt cloud-based systems that support operational efficiency and data governance.
The initiative forms part of ICAI’s broader efforts to support digital adoption within the profession and equip members with tools suited to evolving technological requirements.
