The CBFC has streamlined the romantic comedy ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ by a remarkable 60%, significantly reducing a controversial kissing scene. The Examining Committee also implemented a subtle but impactful change – a muted “guard” word. Varun Dhawan’s character, Sunny, was asked to add an anti-alcohol static. The film, now U/A 13+, clocks 135 minutes. The trailer launched on September 15th, featuring Varun Dhawan and the entire cast. Sanya Malhotra, absent from the premiere, was replaced with a cutout, prompting a hilarious response from the audience – Maniesh Paul chuckled, “She’s ready to go, because the make-up is all set!” The film is releasing worldwide on October 2nd.
