Mumbai — Max Fashion marked its 20th anniversary with a runway presentation at Lakmé Fashion Week, featuring actors Kalki Koechlin, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Alaya F.
The showcase presented 35 looks and highlighted the brand’s approach to contemporary fashion, focusing on youth-oriented and everyday styles. Siddhant Chaturvedi opened the show, representing the “Urban” segment, followed by Alaya F, who continued the segment with a focus on expressive and experimental styles. Chaturvedi later returned to present the brand’s core aesthetic, transitioning to more casual and versatile looks.
Kalki Koechlin appeared as the showstopper for the core segment, closing the presentation alongside Chaturvedi and Alaya F in a joint finale.
The collection was built around the theme “Unserious Everything,” and was divided into three categories: Urban, Sports Core and Core Casual. According to the company, the Urban line featured summer-oriented prints and relaxed silhouettes, while Sports Core incorporated athleisure elements such as oversized fits and graphic designs. The Core Casual segment focused on everyday wear, including cotton fabrics and neutral tones. The show concluded with Indo-Western designs featuring botanical motifs.
Sumit Chandna, CEO of Max Fashion, said the presentation marked a milestone for the brand in India and reflected its evolution alongside changing consumer preferences.
In addition to the runway show, Max Fashion hosted an experiential zone during Lakmé Fashion Week, where attendees could view the collection and engage with the brand’s offerings.
