Mumbai : Seven students from Motion Education have secured positions in the Top 100 in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2025, while a total of 18 students from the institute are among the Top 500, according to data shared by the coaching centre.

The results were acknowledged at an event held on Saturday at the institution’s Daksh Campus in Kota, Rajasthan, where institute officials, including Chairman Surendra Vijay, Director Sushila Vijay, and Deputy Director Amit Verma, met with the high-ranking candidates.

Founder and CEO Nitin Vijay stated that complete data on results is still being compiled due to reported server issues at the National Testing Agency (NTA). As of Saturday, Keshav Mittal had secured an All India Rank (AIR) of 7, while other students from the institute—MD Yusuf (AIR 18), Darshan Mule (AIR 19), Prateek Singh (AIR 50), Raghav Goyal (AIR 62), Anushka Shukrawal (AIR 72), and Jatin Kumar (AIR 85)—were also listed among top performers.

Students present at the event discussed their preparation strategies, including test series and syllabus reviews. They emphasized consistency, time management, and familiarity with exam patterns as key factors in their performance.

Looking ahead to counselling sessions, Vijay advised students to be strategic, citing the variability in seat allocation across categories, quotas, and states. He noted that students would need to remain informed about counselling timelines, seat availability, and eligibility norms, especially those involving domicile rules and newly approved medical colleges.

This year’s NEET UG saw approximately 22.7 lakh registrations, with about 20.9 lakh candidates appearing for the exam. There are an estimated 2.4 lakh available seats in MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH programs, including around 1.18 lakh for MBBS alone.

The 2025 exam recorded lower scores overall compared to previous years. The highest score this year was 686 out of 720, a drop from last year’s perfect scores. Cut-off marks for the General and EWS categories have fallen to 144, down by 18 points from 2024. Similarly, the OBC, SC, and ST categories saw a 14-point decline, with the new threshold set at 113.

The drop in cut-offs has been attributed to the increased difficulty level of the NEET 2025 exam.
