Over 3 lakh acres of land hit by flood in Haryana; Faridabad on edge after release of excess water in Yamuna
Around a dozen districts in Haryana are facing a flood situation amid continuous rise in water levels of the State’s four major rivers — Yamuna, Markanda, Tangri and Ghaggar . More than three lakh acre agricultural land has been registered for crop damage claims by farmer across 1,003 villages over the past week . The e-Kshatipurti portal will remain open for 1,402 villages across 12 districts till September 10 .
