MUMBAI: Prime Video has announced a new Original drama series, Storm (working title), in collaboration with actor Hrithik Roshan’s production banner, HRX Films, a division of FilmKraft Productions.
Created and directed by Ajitpal Singh, the series is described as a high-stakes thriller set in Mumbai, exploring themes of secrets, ambition, and survival. The story is written by Singh, Francois Lunel, and Swati Das. Production is scheduled to begin soon.
The cast includes Parvathy Thiruvothu, Alaya F, Srishti Shrivastava, Rrama Sharma, and Saba Azad. The series is produced by Hrithik Roshan and Eshaan Roshan, marking Hrithik Roshan’s debut as a producer in the streaming space.
Gaurav Gandhi, Vice President of APAC and MENA at Prime Video, said the collaboration with HRX Films represents a commitment to “championing extraordinary talent” and delivering “compelling narratives that resonate globally.”
Hrithik Roshan said Storm offered the right opportunity to enter the streaming arena. “The story is raw, layered, and powerful, with unforgettable characters which will be essayed by incredibly talented actors,” he said. “This series has the potential to resonate with audiences not just in India but across the globe.”
