Pune — Comic Con India announced that its Pune edition will be held on March 21 and 22, 2026, at Yash Lawns. The event marks the 13th edition of the pop-culture convention series in India. Tickets will be available exclusively through District by Zomato.
According to the announcement, the two-day event will feature programming centered on comics, anime, gaming, cosplay, and creator interactions. Organizers said the Pune edition aims to bring together fans, artists, and communities for an annual gathering focused on popular culture and creative expression.
Pune Comic Con will be presented by Maruti Suzuki Arena and powered by Crunchyroll. The city has previously hosted Comic Con events and is described by the organizers as having an active youth and creative community, supported by colleges, independent art spaces, and gaming and fandom groups.
Akshat Rathee, co-founder and managing director of NODWIN Gaming, said the return of the event reflects Pune’s longstanding engagement with storytelling, gaming, and fan communities. He noted that fans from the city have regularly participated in Comic Con events across the country.
Shefali Johnson, CEO of Comic Con India, said Pune’s participative creative culture influenced the decision to bring the event back to the city, adding that the organizers hope local cultural elements will be reflected through cosplay and fan-led activities.
The upcoming Pune edition is expected to include immersive fan zones, panel discussions, cosplay showcases, gaming arenas, and live entertainment. Organizers also said Indian comic creators and publishers are expected to participate, continuing Comic Con India’s focus on connecting fans directly with creators and the broader pop-culture community.
