Swastik Launches Cultural Storytelling FAST Channel Across Digital Platforms

MUMBAI: Swastik Stories has launched what it describes as India’s first cultural storytelling and entertainment FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV) channel, available on JioTV, LG, Xiaomi TV, and RunnTV. The channel will offer 24-hour, free access to content rooted in Indian history and culture, with a reported reach of over 50 million users across digital and connected TV platforms.

The launch marks a new digital venture for Swastik, known for television epics such as Mahabharat, RadhaKrishn, Porus, and Shrimad Ramayan. The company said it plans to reach up to 90% of connected-TV households by March 2026.

The first Swastik Stories original, Hamara Vinayak, will premiere on Friday, October 31, 2025, at 6 p.m. IST. New 10–12-minute episodes will release weekly on YouTube and the FAST channel. The show is presented by 1 Finance, which has partnered with Swastik for the series.

Siddharth Kumar Tewary, Founder and Chief Storyteller at Swastik Stories, said the initiative aims to bring Indian cultural narratives to contemporary audiences. “We want to reach every screen, every home and every viewer who seeks meaning and connection in the stories of our past — told in a voice that belongs to the present,” he said.

Drashti Thaker, AVP of Marketing at 1 Finance, said the partnership aligns with the company’s philosophy of guidance and balance. “Just as Vinayak helps his protagonists find direction amidst their ambitions, our financial advisors guide individuals through the evolving world of investments and financial well-being,” she said.

Swastik Stories plans to expand its catalog with original and curated titles inspired by Indian culture, aiming to merge traditional storytelling with modern formats.
