Mumbai — Fabless semiconductor startup Vervesemi has raised $10 million in a Series A funding round led by investor Ashish Kacholia and Unicorn India Ventures. The round also saw participation from Roots Ventures, Caperize Fina, MAIQ Growth Scheme and several high-net-worth individuals.
The company said the funds will be deployed across three strategic areas: accelerating product commercialisation, moving existing silicon chips into production and qualification, and expanding its go-to-market presence in India, the United States and other key semiconductor markets. A portion of the capital will also be used to expand its intellectual property portfolio and strengthen research and development in precision analog architectures.
According to Vervesemi, it is advancing a machine learning–enhanced analog signal chain integrated circuit portfolio, including data converters, sensing solutions and system-on-chip (SoC) products for industrial, smart energy, motor control and avionics applications. The company said it has validated its architecture in silicon and holds more than 10 patents. Several products are undergoing customer evaluation and qualification.
Rakesh Malik, Co-founder and CEO, said the funding would support the company’s transition from technology validation to scaled deployment. Co-founder and CTO Pratap Narayan Singh said the company is accelerating product tape-outs and expanding engineering capabilities.
Investors cited the founders’ experience and progress in customer engagements as factors in the investment decision. Vervesemi said it plans to expand its engineering teams and strengthen partnerships with fabrication, packaging and testing providers to support scaled production.
