Delhi Comic Con 2025-26 Set to Return, Promises a Massive Celebration of Pop Culture

Delhi Comic Con 2025-26

Delhi: Comic Con India is set to return with its flagship festival, the 2025 Delhi Comic Con 2025-26, from December 5th to 7th at the NSIC Exhibition Grounds, Okhla. The annual event, now in its 14th year, is poised to return with three days of immersive experiences centered around cosplay, comics, gaming, and fan engagement.

Since its inception in 2011, Delhi Comic Con has become a cornerstone of the Indian pop-culture scene, attracting over 52,000 visitors and consistently generating significant buzz. The festival, exclusively ticketed through District by Zomato, has become synonymous with the country’s passionate fandom culture.

“Delhi Comic Con is more than just a convention; it’s a vital cultural movement,” says Akshat Rathee, Co-founder and MD of NODWIN Gaming. “It’s where the seeds of fandom were sown and grew. Every year, we’ve welcomed renowned creators and guests, and the city consistently provides the biggest stage and most exciting atmosphere for fans.”

This year’s event promises a substantial expansion, incorporating PC and console gaming tournaments, thrilling VR experiences – including McLaren-themed racing and simulations – and photo booths, pop-up zones, and captivating cosplayers representing a diverse range of genres. Notable attendees include Ryan North, a bestselling author and Marvel’s Squirrel Girl, Eisner Award-winning artist Jason Loo, Dan Parent (Archie Comics), David Lloyd (co-creator of V for Vendetta), and Kappei Yamaguchi (One Piece), Natsuki Hanae (Demon Slayer), and even Demon Slayer producer Yuma Takahashi.

The festival’s success stems from its multifaceted approach to engaging fans. Beyond the traditional convention format, Comic Con 2025-26 features panel sessions with industry professionals, workshops, meet-and-greets with creators, and networking opportunities, providing a chance for emerging talent to showcase their work. The interactive zones offer unique experiences, cosplay contests, and fan exhibits, creating a vibrant and dynamic atmosphere.

“Delhi Comic Con has always felt close to my heart because of the passion of the fans,” Johnson added, emphasizing the festival’s ability to foster a sense of community. “It’s wonderful to see people arrive with months of hard work, proudly displaying their costumes, and the excitement of connecting with friends around a shared love of storytelling.”

The three-day event is expected to draw a large crowd, offering a compelling blend of traditional pop culture experiences and innovative entertainment. It’s a significant opportunity for Delhi and India to solidify its position as a leading hub for the nation’s creative and enthusiastic community.
