Shopping malls across Bengaluru are organizing a series of events and retail initiatives ahead of International Women’s Day, combining shopping promotions with community-focused activities.
At Bhartiya Mall of Bengaluru, the event titled TheSheImpact 3.0 will run from March 1 to March 8, 2026. The program includes a women entrepreneurs’ pop-up organized in association with Cosmo Bazaar, featuring women-led brands and businesses. Other activities include a women bikers’ ride on March 7, organized with the Free Spirits Motorcycling Club, and the Six Yard Run on March 8, where participants run while wearing sarees. Shoppers spending more than ₹4,999 will also receive gifts and access to in-mall pampering sessions.
Nexus Koramangala Mall is hosting Women’s Day programming that includes themed bazaars, digital installations, beauty-related experiences, and rewards tied to loyalty programs. According to organizers, the initiatives aim to increase customer engagement through experiential retail formats.
Phoenix Market City in Mahadevapura is focusing on fashion-oriented activities, including styling sessions and brand interactions. The mall is also hosting flea markets, fashion showcases, storytelling campaigns, and interactive contests as part of its multi-day Women’s Day engagement.
Outside retail spaces, Women’s Day events such as runs and fitness gatherings, including those hosted at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Stadium, are attracting participants from across the city.
Industry observers say occasions such as Women’s Day have become key dates in the retail calendar in metropolitan areas, where malls use themed events, promotional offers, and community activities to attract visitors and increase consumer engagement.
