MUMBAI — BenQ has introduced its GW90TC Series monitors in India, expanding its display portfolio with models designed for hybrid work and learning environments. The new lineup includes the GW2490TC and GW2790TC, both featuring Full HD resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate and USB-C connectivity.
According to the company, the series is built to support single-cable setups through USB-C with DisplayPort Alt Mode, enabling display, data transfer and device charging via one connection. The monitors offer up to 20W power delivery for compatible laptops and tablets.
The GW90TC models use IPS panels with a 5ms response time and support AMD FreeSync to reduce screen tearing during motion-heavy tasks. BenQ said the displays are suited for multitasking, document work and everyday media consumption.
The series also incorporates the company’s Eye-Care technologies, including Flicker-Free, Low Blue Light and Visual Optimizer features, aimed at reducing eye strain during extended use.
For ergonomic flexibility, the monitors include height, tilt, swivel and pivot adjustments.
“USB-C is no longer a premium add-on — it has become the foundation of how modern devices connect and work together,” said Rajeev Singh, Managing Director, BenQ India, in a statement. He said the new series is intended to simplify connectivity while supporting performance and user comfort.
The GW2490TC and GW2790TC are available through authorized retail partners and e-commerce platforms in India. Pricing starts at INR 12,750 for the GW2490TC and INR 14,990 for the GW2790TC. Lower-spec variants, GW2490C and GW2790C, are priced at INR 9,589 and INR 11,989, respectively.
