Mumbai : Capgemini has announced a strategic partnership with OpenAI to accelerate enterprise adoption of artificial intelligence through OpenAI’s new Frontier platform. As a founding member of the OpenAI Frontier Alliance, Capgemini will collaborate with OpenAI to help organizations deploy AI systems at scale across business functions.
The Frontier platform is designed to enable enterprises to build, deploy and manage AI agents capable of performing tasks across operations. Capgemini said the partnership will focus on addressing business, data, organizational and systems integration challenges that companies face in scaling AI initiatives.
The collaboration will combine Capgemini’s sector expertise, data governance capabilities and digital transformation assets with OpenAI’s enterprise AI technologies, including its cloud offerings, APIs, AI agents and ChatGPT Enterprise. The companies aim to develop enterprise AI operating models and multi-agent workflows to support broader adoption.
Brad Lightcap, Chief Operating Officer at OpenAI, said the partnership is intended to help enterprises translate advances in frontier AI into deployable solutions. Capgemini CEO Aiman Ezzat described the collaboration as a long-term strategic effort to support AI-powered transformation.
As part of the alliance, Capgemini will establish an OpenAI Enterprise Frontier delivery function, working alongside OpenAI’s Forward Deployed Engineering team. The partners plan to co-develop industry-specific AI solutions for sectors including consumer products and retail, financial services, life sciences, and energy and utilities.
The companies said the initiative is aimed at supporting organizations transitioning from AI experimentation to large-scale operational deployment.
