New Delhi : The finals of DP World PGTI’s 72 The League, a team-based professional golf competition powered by IndusInd Bank, will be telecast live on Eurosport India.
The inaugural season’s final will be played at Qutab Golf Course on Friday, March 6, following five league matches held at Classic Golf & Country Club and Jaypee Greens. Live coverage will begin at 10 am, according to organisers.
Eurosport will also air highlight packages from the league on March 14 and 15, and again on March 21 and 22, starting at 3 pm.
The league features six teams of 10 players each: Charminar Champions, Kolkata Classics, Mumbai Aces, Nava Raipur, Rajasthan Regals and UP Prometheans. The top two teams at the end of the league stage will compete in the final. The winning team will receive a prize of ₹1 crore, while the runner-up will be awarded ₹50 lakh.
The competition has been launched by DP World PGTI in partnership with Game of Life Sports.
Going into the fourth round of the league stage at Classic Golf & Country Club, Rajasthan Regals, led by Ajeetesh Sandhu, were tied at 32 points with the UP Prometheans, captained by Shaurya Bhattacharya.
