Mumbai, India — Findability Sciences participated in a CEO roundtable hosted by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on the sidelines of the AI4Agri 2026 Global Conference in Mumbai’s Bandra-Kurla Complex.
The roundtable brought together representatives from companies including Godrej, Mahindra, Reliance, Tata and Jain Irrigation, along with Union Minister of State Jitendra Singh, Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar, Ministers Dattatray Bharane, Bharat Gogawale and Ashish Jaiswal, and other state officials to discuss the use of artificial intelligence in agriculture.
Anand Mahurkar, founder and chief executive officer of Findability Sciences, outlined proposals focused on rural Maharashtra. According to the company, these included AI-enabled crop monitoring through remote sensing to provide real-time insights on crop health and yield forecasts without requiring upfront capital investment from farmers.
Mahurkar also discussed potential government–industry partnerships in the dairy and sugar sectors, aimed at reducing losses, improving operational efficiency and supporting cooperatives and producers through AI-based tools.
“We are encouraged by the Maharashtra Government’s vision to harness AI for inclusive growth,” Mahurkar said, adding that collaboration between the public and private sectors could expand access to technology for farmers and rural enterprises.
The roundtable was part of the broader AI4Agri 2026 conference, which focused on the application of artificial intelligence in agriculture and food systems.
