Global Tech Firms Launch Trusted Tech Alliance

Munich – Fifteen technology companies from Africa, Asia, Europe and North America have announced the formation of the Trusted Tech Alliance (TTA) at the Munich Security Conference, aiming to promote common principles for secure and transparent technology development across borders.

The alliance brings together companies operating across connectivity, cloud infrastructure, semiconductors, software and artificial intelligence. Founding signatories include Anthropic, AWS, Cassava Technologies, Cohere, Ericsson, Google Cloud, Hanwha, Jio Platforms, Microsoft, Nokia, Nscale, NTT, Rapidus, Saab and SAP.

According to the announcement, members have agreed to five principles: transparent corporate governance and ethical conduct; operational transparency and secure development with independent assessment; robust supply chain and security oversight; support for an open and resilient digital ecosystem; and respect for the rule of law and data protection.

The companies said the initiative responds to rapid technological change and growing demand from governments and customers for reliable and resilient technology providers. The alliance aims to establish shared, verifiable practices intended to ensure security, accountability and responsible operation regardless of where technologies are developed or deployed.

Executives from participating firms said the group would work with governments and customers to strengthen trust in emerging technologies, including AI and digital infrastructure. The TTA said it plans to expand its membership and contribute to national and international efforts focused on resilience, competitiveness and technology sovereignty.
