Hartek Wins ₹735 Crore in Substation Contracts

Mumbai — Hartek’s Power Systems business unit has secured cumulative orders worth ₹735 crore across utility, independent power producer and industrial segments, the company said.

The projects involve substation and transmission infrastructure ranging from 66 kV to 765 kV. They are located across nine states: Jammu, Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. According to the company, the projects are aimed at strengthening regional and interstate transmission networks and supporting power evacuation.

Simarpreet Singh, Executive Director and CEO of Hartek Group, said the orders reflect growing demand for integrated power systems as renewable capacity and industrial consumption expand.

“As renewable capacity and industrial demand continue to scale, the need for resilient and well-integrated power systems becomes increasingly critical,” Singh said. He added that the company’s projects include grid-ready substations, protection systems and related infrastructure.

Hartek said its capabilities span engineering and execution of substations, switchyards and protection systems across voltage levels from 66 kV to 765 kV. The company also cited its recent expansion into integrated solar-plus-storage solutions, including grid-connected battery energy storage systems.

The latest contracts add to Hartek’s presence in utility-scale renewable and industrial power infrastructure projects across India, according to the company.
