Mumbai : Kama Ayurveda has partnered with Unicommerce to streamline its online operations and improve delivery efficiency, the companies announced.
Under the agreement, Kama Ayurveda will use Unicommerce’s order and warehouse management platform, Uniware, to manage orders and inventory across its operations. The brand will also integrate Shipway, Unicommerce’s logistics technology platform, to optimise deliveries, reduce transit times, and improve supply chain processes.
Kama Ayurveda, which offers plant-based ayurvedic skincare, haircare and wellness products, will use Uniware’s order management system (OMS) and warehouse management system (WMS) to process orders from its website. The integration will bring its three warehouses onto a single platform, enabling centralised inventory management, faster order processing and reporting.
According to the release, the system will provide real-time visibility of stock across sales channels, help minimise stockouts and overstocking, and support accounting and seasonal scaling. The platform will also manage batch processes to flag and remove expired or unusable products.
Shipway will automate the selection of logistics partners based on delivery requirements and support returns management, aiming to improve the end-customer experience.
“Managing premium wellness products across multiple platforms is complex and requires precision. Unicommerce’s platform helps us ensure every order is handled carefully, from order to delivery,” said Manish Kumar Raushan, Senior Manager – IT at Kama Ayurveda.
Kapil Makhija, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Unicommerce, said the collaboration supports brands in meeting their operational requirements and evolving customer expectations.
