Vijayawada — Manipal Hospitals Vijayawada has received multiple national awards recognizing clinical excellence and patient-centred care across several specialties.
At the 5th Global Healthcare and Wellness Awards held on Feb. 22 at Le Meridien Hyderabad, the hospital was named Best Hospital for Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Plastic Surgery. The awards, presented by Hypedge Network India, cited clinical outcomes, infrastructure and patient-focused healthcare delivery. The recognition was received by Dr. Rajesh Bathini, Dr. Rajesh Chandra from the Department of Gastroenterology, Dr. Prashanth from the Department of Plastic Surgery, and Dr. Utham Sharma, Medical Superintendent.
The hospital was also honoured at the Pride of Nation Awards hosted by Asia Today Media on Feb. 26 in Visakhapatnam. It received awards for Excellence in Oncology Services and Excellence in Nephrology and Urology including Kidney Transplantation Services.
Representatives from the oncology team, including specialists in surgical, radiation and medical oncology, accepted the oncology award alongside Hospital Director Ramanjaneya Reddy J. The nephrology and urology award was received by consultants from both departments and the hospital director.
According to the organisers, the recognitions were based on clinical performance, infrastructure and patient-care initiatives, including transplant outcomes, minimally invasive procedures and structured patient feedback systems.
Hospital Director Ramanjaneya Reddy J said the awards reflect the institution’s commitment to clinical care and patient support across specialties.
