MediBuddy Prepares Corporates for Compliance with New Labour Code Health Mandate

MediBuddy announced that it is prepared to support employers in meeting new requirements under India’s Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions (OSH) Code, which mandates annual employer-sponsored health check-ups for all employees aged 40 and above.

The company said it is expanding its nationwide capabilities through compliance-aligned check-up packages, a NABL-certified diagnostic network and delivery formats designed to accommodate distributed workforces. According to the announcement, HR and administrative teams are expected to face increased operational responsibilities as they coordinate large-scale assessments, manage reporting and ensure timely compliance.

To help organisations implement screenings at scale, MediBuddy is offering both on-site health camps and at-home check-up options. Its diagnostic network covers metro, non-metro and industrial regions, and dedicated points of contact are assigned to streamline scheduling and coordination.

MediBuddy also provides analytical reports that summarise screening outcomes and highlight workforce health trends. Follow-up support is available for individuals identified as high-risk. The company said its experience working with more than 1,000 corporate clients enables it to deliver consistent turnaround times and manage large employee health programmes.

Co-founder and CEO Satish Kannan said the mandate will influence how organisations plan workforce health initiatives and that early preparation can help reduce long-term risks. He added that MediBuddy aims to support employers by offering compliant screenings, clear reporting and services designed to ensure continuity of care.
