MRSI to Honour B.V. Pradeep with Lifetime Achievement Award

Mumbai : The Market Research Society of India (MRSI) has announced that B.V. Pradeep will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 7th Golden Key Awards, scheduled to be held on March 6, 2026, in Mumbai.

Pradeep, an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, has had a career spanning more than four decades. He spent nearly 30 years with Unilever in India and overseas, where he held key leadership roles and developed research frameworks and insight-led methodologies that were later adopted as global practices. He is credited with contributing to the formal evolution of the market research function into the Consumer & Market Insights (CMI) role.

Over the years, he has worked on initiatives ranging from sensory research in tea and brand equity measurement to behaviour change models and consumer-centric programs. His work focused on integrating consumer insights into business strategy and decision-making processes.

Pradeep has also been active in industry bodies. He served on the Governing Council of ESOMAR as Vice President and Treasurer, was President of MRSI from 1999 to 2005, and held roles with the Media Research Users Council and the Joint Technical Committee for Television Audience Measurement. He currently leads consultancy firm Catalyst-4ur-Growth.

Industry leaders including Nitin Kamat, President of MRSI, and Paru Minocha of Kantar acknowledged his contributions to the research and insights sector. The award jury was chaired by C.K. Sharma and included senior industry professionals.
