Mumbai,Offbeet Media Group has appointed Abhijeet Rathor as its chief business officer, tasking him with leading the company’s monetisation strategy and revenue growth initiatives across its portfolio of content, platforms and intellectual properties.
In his new role, Rathor will oversee commercial partnerships, advertising sales, brand solutions and long-term revenue development for the group. The appointment is effective immediately, the company said.
Offbeet Media Group operates across multiple content- and IP-led businesses, including Offbeet Studios, its original content and IP creation arm; 101 India, a digital platform focused on creator-led storytelling; US Premier League, a sports property centred on cricket; Zelador, an influencer marketing company; and Offbeet Music, which develops original music and artist-led properties.
Rathor brings more than two decades of experience in media, entertainment and brand monetisation. He has previously held leadership roles at organisations including The Times of India Group, Star India, now part of JioStar, and Walt Disney India. He has also worked as a business consultant with content, media and sports start-ups, advising on sales and monetisation strategies.
Jaideep Singh, founder of Offbeet Media Group, said the appointment supports the company’s focus on building a scalable and future-ready revenue engine as it expands its content and IP offerings. He said Rathor’s experience in content-led monetisation and brand partnerships would strengthen the leadership team.
Rathor said Offbeet is building content and IP-driven businesses with an emphasis on authenticity and long-term value. He said his focus would be on creating sustainable monetisation frameworks that support creative goals while delivering value for partners and brands.
The company said Rathor’s role will centre on aligning commercial strategy with Offbeet’s expanding media and entertainment ventures.
