Rozana Raises ₹290 Crore in Series B Funding Led by Bertelsmann India

Rural-focused omnichannel retail platform Rozana has raised ₹290 crore in a Series B funding round led by Bertelsmann India Investments (BII), with participation from Fireside Ventures, Spark Growth Ventures, Bikaji Family Office, FE Securities, and several family offices.

The company said the funding comes as it expands its hybrid commerce infrastructure across 21,000 villages in the Gangetic plains. Rozana reported a fourfold increase in revenue since its previous funding round.

Founded by Ankur Dahiya, Adwait Vikram Singh, and Mukesh Christopher, the platform operates through a combination of a consumer-facing app, digital commerce services, and more than 75 retail experience centers supported by owned distribution infrastructure. According to the company, its network also includes more than 35,000 women partners who act as local intermediaries and fulfillment agents within rural communities.

Rozana currently operates in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana, serving more than one million active rural households. The company said it plans to expand to more than 200 stores and enter two to three additional northern states across the Gangetic belt, with a longer-term goal of reaching 130,000 villages.

The newly raised capital will be used to strengthen technology infrastructure, expand product categories, develop private-label offerings, and deepen partnerships with brands.

Ankur Dahiya, co-founder of Rozana, said the platform aims to improve access to reliable products and retail infrastructure for rural consumers. Pankaj Makkar, managing director at Bertelsmann India Investments, said the investment reflects the potential of rural consumption and Rozana’s efforts to build a trusted retail platform for households in the region.
