S8UL Signs Pokémon GO World Champion Ved “Beelzeboy” Bamb

S8UL Esports has signed Ved “Beelzeboy” Bamb, the Pokémon GO World Champion, adding the Indian player to its competitive roster as the organization expands its presence in global esports titles.

Bamb won the Pokémon GO World Championship in August 2025 in Anaheim, California, defeating Spain’s Leo “P4T0M4N” Marín in the grand final. The victory made him India’s first esports world champion, according to the announcement.

Bamb, who is from Nagpur, began playing Pokémon GO when the game launched in 2016 and has competed in regional and international tournaments. Before winning the world title, he secured the Pokémon GO India National Championship in 2024 and recorded several strong international finishes.

“Pokémon is where it all began for many of us as kids,” said Animesh Agarwal, co-founder of S8UL and 8Bit Creatives. Agarwal said Bamb’s world championship victory highlighted the capabilities of Indian players on the global stage.

Bamb said joining the organization marks a new chapter following his championship win and expressed interest in contributing to the growth of Indian esports.

Outside of esports, Bamb works as a software developer while competing in professional gaming tournaments.

S8UL fields teams across several competitive gaming titles and also operates a gaming content network. The organization said Bamb’s addition strengthens its presence in the Pokémon esports ecosystem and reflects its focus on supporting competitive players from India.
