TEDxBIMTECH 2026 Focuses on Innovation and Future Challenges

Mumbai — Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) hosted TEDxBIMTECH 2026 at its campus, bringing together nine speakers under the theme “Decoding Tomorrow.”

The event featured discussions on human well-being, technological development and innovation. According to the organizers, the program aimed to encourage dialogue on future-oriented ideas across sectors including business, sports, culture and sustainability.

Speakers included Deepa Krishnan, Head of Marketing–Real Estate at Edelweiss Alternate Asset Advisors; professional wrestler Sarika Malik; Buland Himalay; and Annu Grover, Founder and CEO of Nurturing Green.

Krishnan spoke about what she described as the “5 Mantras of an Innovation Mindset,” encouraging curiosity and continuous learning. Grover discussed her company’s focus on promoting plant gifting as part of its business model. Malik addressed resilience in the face of setbacks, highlighting the importance of mental strength in overcoming challenges.

Dr. Prabina Rajib, Director of BIMTECH, said hosting TEDx reflected the institution’s role in fostering discussion and engagement with real-world issues. She said the event combined storytelling and research-driven perspectives to create an immersive learning environment.

Organizers said the event drew participation from students, faculty and external attendees.

TEDx events are independently organized under license from TED, a nonprofit organization founded in 1984 to promote the sharing of ideas through talks and conferences.
