GOA, India: The first episode of The Family Man Season 3 was showcased at the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) on November 21, drawing strong applause from attendees, according to the release . Cast members and creators attended the gala premiere, including Manoj Bajpayee, Jaideep Ahlawat, Nimrat Kaur, Sahira Nair, Raj and DK, and Suman Kumar. The team was felicitated by Shri Prabhat, Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting.
Following the screening, the creators and actors discussed the new season’s storyline, character developments, and ensemble cast additions. Raj and DK said watching the episode with an enthusiastic audience was “an incredible experience” and noted that significant effort went into shaping the third season. Bajpayee said the character of Srikant Tiwari has resonated with viewers over the years, adding that he expects the latest season to connect with audiences in a similar way.
Ahlawat, who portrays the antagonist Rukma, described the role as distinct from his earlier work. Kaur said she was eager to join the franchise, calling the experience exciting.
Season 3 follows Srikant Tiwari as he goes on the run with his family, facing new adversaries played by Ahlawat and Kaur, while also being pursued by his own intelligence unit. Returning cast members include Sharib Hashmi, Priyamani, Ashlesha Thakur, Vedant Sinha, Shreya Dhanwanthary, and Gul Panag. The series is written by Raj, DK, and Suman Kumar, with direction by Raj and DK alongside Kumar and Tusshar Seyth.
The new season is now streaming on Prime Video in India and over 240 countries and territories .
