TVS Electronics Showcases Banking Solutions for BFSI Sector

Chennai,TVS Electronics (TVSE) on Monday outlined its portfolio of domestically manufactured hardware products and solutions designed for the banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) sector, focusing on transaction security, operational reliability and scalability.

The company said rising transaction volumes, increased digital adoption and growing customer expectations have placed pressure on financial institutions to ensure uninterrupted, accurate and secure operations. TVSE stated that its integrated hardware offerings aim to support banks in managing daily workflows across branches, self-service channels and digital touchpoints.

According to the company, its BFSI portfolio includes biometric fingerprint readers for authentication, cash management systems with counterfeit detection features, and point-of-sale devices for handling high transaction volumes in digital payments. It also offers specialty printers used for passbooks, cheques, statements and receipts, along with barcode scanners, label printers and handheld terminals for tracking documents and assets within branch operations.

C. Balaji, Vice President and Chief Business Officer, Products and Solutions Group at TVS Electronics, said banking systems require security, speed and continuous availability. He said the company’s solutions are designed to support functions ranging from authentication and printing to asset tracking and IT infrastructure management.

TVSE also highlighted its self-service kiosk solutions, which are intended to extend banking services such as account enquiries, bill payments and form submissions without increasing branch infrastructure. In addition, the company said it supports financial inclusion initiatives through hardware designed for business correspondents operating in rural and semi-urban areas.

The company noted that its Aikya platform provides centralized infrastructure management for branch IT systems. TVS Electronics said it supports BFSI clients through a nationwide sales and service network covering more than 200 districts and over 19,000 pincodes.
